This level is definitely one of the more difficult ones to complete without repair kits.
This particular HEAVY CAVALRY and the Warrant Officer piloting it honestly feel more difficult than most other HC units in the game. The HC units in Corporate Salvage and Old Spaceport are comparably easy, probably because THIS HC has a high-powered energy rifle on him and can punish you from a distance. The others are strictly "stay close and slash away", with some pulse barrages at a distance.
Ignoring the HC, the enemies in this mission are moderately difficult, but not even the two LIGHT CAVALRY units you fight compare to the guy hiding outside the base: Ring Freddie, a member of the Rubicon Liberation Front who has arguably one of the meanest builds in the game. Thankfully, if you jump him fast enough, you won't eat enough missiles or Songbirds shells to really feel the burn. But I still vividly remember "Freddie Fortaleza Fazchair" wrecking me in the Arena before I finally killed him proper.
Also, he's Dolmayan's lover. Guess he WOULD be the only RLF member who needs me dead aside from the incredibly vehement Thumb in Alea Iacta Est.
This run could be better, but I can only commit myself to improving from here on out.
