Steps:

Technique One
1. Cut one color of fiber shorter than the other making sure this shorter fiber's ends are blunt and even.
2. Position the shorter fiber on top of the other color.
3. Spread the fiber out and pull apart into two bundles.
4. Place one bundle directly on top of the other.
5. Repeat until the blend is complete.
6. Secure the fiber to your work surface.
7. Backcomb.

Technique Two
1. Cut one color of fiber shorter than the other.
2. Secure the shorter fiber.
3. Backcomb.
4. Create a small hole in the tip of the backcombing.
5. Push the secondary fiber through the hole.
6. Backcomb to close the hole.
7. Backcomb the second color to the tips.
