I challenged myself to build a 20 foot snowman and turn it into a real survival shelter. Then I actually lived inside it for 24 hours in the middle of winter.
Using only a survival shovel and hand tools, I carved out the interior, reinforced the structure, and tested whether it could keep me warm through the night.
This might be the biggest snow survival shelter I’ve ever built.
