Overnight Camping trip in the Woods with Ginge & Simon | Fishing, Bushcraft, Badger Set & Delicious Scottish Cooking!

Join us on an unforgettable overnight camping trip in the woods with Ginge and @simonablokeinthewoods I start the day off fishing at the same spot where I caught my PB Pike, before heading back to the truck to grab my LK-35 bushcraft bag and setting off into the wilderness.

In the woods, there lives a family of badgers, will we spot a badger? Stay tuned to find out! 🦡 As night falls, Ginge prepares a delicious Scottish dish: Cullen Skink—a hearty smoked haddock soup perfect for a camping adventure. We also enjoy some delicious Polish sausages the next morning, cooked up on the Lil Alien BBQ Pit.

Cullen Skink Recipe: Ingredients:

450g smoked haddock
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium potato, peeled and chopped
1 liter of milk
1 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:

In a large pan, melt butter and sauté the chopped onion until soft.
Add the chopped potatoes and cook for a few minutes.
Pour in the milk and bring it to a gentle simmer.
Add the smoked haddock and simmer for around 10 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
Flake the haddock into bite-sized pieces and return it to the pot.
Season with salt and pepper, and add parsley if desired.
Serve hot and enjoy a taste of Scotland around the campfire!
