Foraging around Whistler British Columbia is an excellent place to start your foraging adventure in the fall months. All sorts of micro climates, elevations and aspects to search. New forests and old forests, forest roads and highways to easily access the wild landscape.
Stopping anywhere and going for a walk is all you need to do at the right time of year and you will probably run into fungi.
In this video I find white chanterelle, pine mushrooms, sweet tooth and aspen scabber stalk.
This was an excellent year for foraging! So many fungi out there with the wet mild year.
