This video is going to show what you can do with a medium grain watercolour paper, I've chosen rusty objects to show the grain off rather than disguising the surface.
Here I'm using Stratford arts Medium grain watercolour 100% cotton paper, this paper is vegan friendly and ethically sourced.

My paints are hand made in my studio, so are as true to the original pigment as I can get them.
Mars orange,
Mars red deep,
Mars violet
Mars brown
Indigo
Amber Yellow shade
