The 1955 Studebaker Speedster Is Considered The FINEST Ever Made

This is a video about my dad's 1955 Studebaker Speedster. The Speedster was a one year only model built to compete with the Chevrolet Corvette and Ford Thunderbird, and was both more expensive and more rare than either. It represents the top of the line model for Studebaker that year, and came with an extensive list of options with a completely unique front end, completely unique dash and instrumentation, two-tone paint, and specific trim and options all over the car including a stainless steel roof band, integrated fog lights, unique wheel covers, and gold-plated trim.

Only 2,215 Speedsters were ever produced, with only 420 of them being produced in the Los Angeles plant. This is one of those 420 cars, finished in arguably the best color combination of any 1950s vehicle, Coraltone and Pimlico Grey Metallic. It was originally sold to a couple in St Obisto, California, according to the multiple registrations slips included with the car.
