Besides an oil pan, you’ll want another 2-3 catch containers to catch drippings from either end of the hoses.
Seems like a lot of steps, but I only have about 2-2.5hrs invested start to finish, on a rust free vehicle.
Summary:
1. Remove all under trays
2. Drain oil, remove filter
3. Disconnect lines at the radiator
4. Disconnect lines at the block
5. Undo 15mm bolt holding lines to the block
6. Undo 10mm bolt holding wires to oil pan
7. Bend lower line down under bumper, let drain in a pan
8. Bend upper line down under bumper, let drain in a pan
9. Rotate upper line 90 deg towards driver side. The opening of the line should be pointing towards the driver side of the vehicle. Shimmy, shake, pull the line out
10. Shimmy, shake the lower line out.
11. Tape hose ends so debris doesn’t get in them, shimmy the lower line back in
12. Tape hose ends, ROTATE UPPER HOSE so fitting opening is pointing towards the driver side. Shimmy the line in PAST the connection point
13. Rotate upper hose hardline between engine and radiator.
14. Connect hoses, brackets, oil filter, fill up oil, and crack open your beverage of choice on a job well done.
