Discovering Watches in Paris | Talks with Head of Heritage – Longines | Journées du patrimoine 2025

In this video, we had a chance to visit Bucherer’s Paris store to discover the world of watches through multiple conferences arranged by various brands such as Longines, Frédérique Constant, and Girard-Perregaux.

This amazing opportunity came our way thanks to the two days of Journées européennes du patrimoine, where almost 29,000 visitors visited different venues and conferences (about 18,500) to explore subjects of their passion and interests.

Main highlights of the conferences:
-Deep dive into the history of Longines’ professional watchmaking, and elegant watches for women by Mr. Daniel Hug (Head of Branding and Heritage – Longines).
-Initial look of Longines pre-released high-frequency Ultra Chron watch.
-A Watchmaking demonstration by a master watchmaker from Frédérique Constant.
-Discovering a half-century evolution of the Girard-Perregaux Laureato by Ms. Mathilde Graciet (Head of Heritage at Girard-Perregaux).

Bucherer is a multibrand watch and jewellery store that has several locations across the world and is based in Switzerland.
