LESS Car-Centric Hotrod Videos, Enjoying Extended Vacation |

I have 2 YouTube channels: Road Odyssey & Motoring Fanatic. On those channels I am switching back to making videos about driving experiences, parks, museums, and general goofing off. I may include a little bit on car builds and the like. I may start 3rd channel related to nature.

After a year+ of seriously focusing on car & hot rod builds I finally got burned out. Partly due to "odd" attitudes from select people in and around the cars and shops. Partly due to YouTube "hating" my videos and not sharing them to subscribers. When I get virtually NO subscribers watching my videos, for a very long time, that is just weird. My metrics also reflect the same thing. The low viewership also means my Ad Revenue is extremely LOW! Not worth the trouble and all the gas & time I spend to gather content. Even though I am doing this as a hobby... YouTube is getting a LOT more ROI by USING my content than I could ever make...

So, I am NOT working my self to death just to make YouTube money and not myself. That seems dumb.
