This cool 1969 Chevrolet Camaro arrived at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop for a complete restoration, but we are intrigue with some of the unique elements found on this all-original car.

The Votes Are In!

We asked viewers what we should do with the original 250 cubic-inch six cylinder engine and Powerglide transmission. It was nearly a 50/50 spilt of people who responded, with the majority saying to keep the original 6!

The Restoration Begins

In this video, we began the disassembly of the Butternut Yellow 1969 Camaro to reveal the condition of the floors, trunk floor, and other body sheet metal. We were happy to see only minimal rust in the typical areas where Camaros tend to hold water and corrode.

Engine Condition

We were able to start and run the engine using an external gas can. It seem to idle, OK, although the carburetor definitely needs a rebuild!
