The discontinued AG-86 was a premium squidding rod in 2013. It features Rouf Guides that are arranged so mitigate line fluctuation which results in further distance casting.
The rod weights at 133g which is considered quite heavy in 2022 standard. The butt length is very short that might cause fatigue on wrist.
Overall it is a solid rod for shore casting in 2022. I would not recommend it for people who is after a rod for squidding.
