In this episode, we bring you along to our affordable trip to Diani, where we show you our accommodation and take you along to the places we visit.

Tips for an affordable trip:
-Travelling with friends because you have shared costs for accommodation, food and travel buses or boats.
Use SGR(train) to travel from Nairobi to Mombasa KES 1000 & KES 3000 for 1st class. This is cheaper than taking a flight to Mombasa. Transport from the SGR to Diani should cost you KES 500/ person.
-Use a travel company because of convinience and it's cheaper. The trade off is that you get to follow their schedule. Not really flexible.

Things to do:
-Visit Wasini Island (our highlight) & Wasini Village. Lovely clean beach , watch Dolphins on your way to Wasini Island. Snorkel, swim, deep dive,take pictures.
-Visit Kaya Kinondo Sacred forest. This is a forest that's revered as the repository of spiritual beliefs of the mijikenda people.The hugging tree is our highlight.
Go to the beaches, enjoy the sunset/sunrise and the fine sand,watch sea creatures. Ride Camels@KES 500
Visit Ali Barbour's cave( not in the video)
-Tour Shimba Hills( not in the video)
-Visit the magical Funzi island( not in the video)
-Night life in Manyatta and Full moon( not in the video)
