Tired of Dies Not Staying In Place? Stampin Up Magnetic Cutting Plate Review

Are you tired of your dies not staying in place when you die cut? Meet the Stampin Up Magnetic Cutting Plate. This plate holds your dies in place, saving time and endless frustration when die cutting. It's made up of three layers including a self-healing cutting surface, a magnet, and a sturdy metal base. It replaces plates 2 and 3 in your 'cutting sandwich' when die cutting.

Compared to the previous thick magnetic base plate, the new plate is thinner and it has an even magnetic field to prevent dies from 'jumping' around. To use this plate, use plates 1, 5 (this magnetic plate), add paper and die face down, then plate 3. It will hold your dies in place, and is especially helpful when cutting around a stamped image.

To care for the magnetic cutting plate, clean it with a damp cloth and do not submerge it in water or use harsh cleaners. Make sure to spread out dies across the surface of the platform to lengthen the life of the plate.
