In this improvisation, I’m experimenting with the Buchla Easel to play a tuned pitch sequence, while using Ableton to trigger bass notes. There’s no keyboard involved—I'm manually triggering the notes from the computer while the Buchla sequences the melody. It’s an interesting combination of manually / cv-tuned pitches from the sequencer and MIDI-controlled / digital tuning for the bass notes from the DAW.
