With the introduction of new UK regulations covering both CRS 2.0 and CARF and implementation due on 1 January 2026 institutions need to ensure they are planning for the compliance changes that take effect as well as the impact on reporting in future years. In the UK we have a new penalty regime, mandatory registrations and increasing interactions with HMRC around data quality and compliance frameworks. For many institutions operating outside of the UK similar changes also apply and we will explore the latest international developments.
