The study was aimed to divert our attention towards one of the most important and renowned Sufi scholar ‘Syed Pir Mehar Ali Shah’.
Pir Mehar Ali Shah was a Sufi scholar from British India (Present day Pakistan). He is known as a Hanafi scholar leading the anti-Ahmadiyya movement. He wrote several books, most notably Saif e Chishtiyai. This Documentary is based on the life story and contributions of Pir Mehar Ali Shah for Islam and the Muslim community in the times of British India. The documentary unfolds its story and talks about the works of Pir Mehar Ali Shah and his dedication towards Islam and finality of Prophet Hood.
Pir Mehar Ali Shah’s most celebrated naat ‘aj sik mitran di’ is still remembered. Whenever a person hears this naat, it rouses the same feeling of love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
