Baking my Grandma’s famous apple pie (with Grandma!)

My Grandma finally taught me how to make her famous apple pie! I love spending time with family, and given this year's events, it’s been hard to get in family time. Teaching my grandma how to Facetime and Zoom so we could stay connected this year was a delight. Big thanks to grams (yes, I told her offline) for baking pies with me! Recipe:

Apple Prep:
Granny Smith Apples
Peel and Slice Apples
Soak in saltwater

Crust:
Ice Water
4 Cups of Flour
2 Cups Crisco
Salt

Filling:
Drained Apples
2 Teaspoons of Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon of Nutmeg
1/4 Teaspoons of Cloves and Ginger
1/2 Cup of White Sugar
3/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
4 Tablespoons of Flour
Butter

Baking Times:
Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes
Then 350 degree for about 30 minutes
