Panasa Pottu Kura Ingredients:
1.Panasa Pottu - 1/4 kg
(Raw jackfruit cut into Pieces)
2.Minappau Vadiyalu - 2 tsp
Urad Dal
3.Green Chillies -6
4.Ginger grated(thurumu) - 1 tsp
5.Asafoetida - 1/8 tsp
6.Cashew - 10
7.Tamarind rasam - 3 tsp
8.Black mustard - 1 tsp
9.Groundnut - 2 tsp
10.Dry Mirchi - 4
11.Chana Dal - 1 tsp
12.Minappau (urad dal) - 1 1/2 tsp
13.Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
14.Black Mustard Powder - 1 tsp
15.Oil - 5 tsp
16.Salt to taste

Hello Friends,
Today I am going to show how to make
Jackfruit Curry (panasa Pottu Curry)
which is very tasty and famous in
marriage functions especially in
South India .This Jackfruit recipe is very
easy and quick with limited ingredients
in making. This item served in
rice and rotis. Pl try this recipe.

Panasa Pottu Curry is a traditional
South Indian dish, especially popular
in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana,
made from raw jackfruit (panasa)
cooked with a variety of spices to
create a tasty curry.Pottu means
the raw jackfruit, which is cut
into pieces and used in its unripe
form in the curry.
Jackfruit washed in salt water
3 times and then put into a pressure
cooker or pan add a glass of water
and put raw jackfruit pieces along
with 1/4 tsp oil, 1/4 tsp turmeric
powder and close the lid for
20 minutes.After boiling keep
the boiled jackfruit pieces
in cool condition.
In the mean time take pan heat
oil put urad dal vadiyalu, cashew
and groundnut seeds after roast each
one keep aside. Then put in same pan
black mustard, urad dal, chana dal,
green chillies,ginger grated(thurumu)
asafoetida powder,curry leaves,
dry mirchi,turmeric powder,salt,
tamarind juice, roast it.
Take Boiled Jackfruit pieces remove
excess water by pressing with hand
and put it in pan alongwith pop kept
ready and keep lid and boil for
5 minutes . After 5 minutes keep the
recipe in coll condition. Remove lid
then add 1/4 tsp asafoetida powder
mix well and remove the receipt
in a small dish. Now the Recipe
is ready to serve.
