Fix for License Error via PKGi Method? - Cause and Solution | [PS3-HEN/TUT] | 2022

PSA: This Tutorial's meant for HEN Users Only. CFW Users don't have to use this Method.

★ How to Install? ★
➤ Place the .PKG File into the root of the USB, then Install it via Package Manager. (USB Method)
➤ Place the .PKG File into /dev_hdd0/packages, then Install it via Package Manager. (FTP/FileZilla Method)

Apollo Save Tool (v1.6.4)
PKGi (v1.1.6)
webMAN MOD (v1.47.37)

★ Notes ★
➤ This was done on HEN 4.88 HFW. (Tested/Working, Confirmed by Me)
➤ You don't need to use the Specific Versions of CFW Apps I've used in the Video. It doesn't matter.

Note (for Pros/Cons):
I'll be Updating this from time to time, if I missed anything.

Pros
You don't need to have PSN Access (Defeats the purpose of being Connected to PSN Servers; Note: An Internet Connection is still required to Download/Install Games from PKGi)
reActPSN/PSN Patch and PSN Account Activation aren't needed
The "exdata" Folder will automatically be Created in the "/dev_hdd0" Directory via PKGi. (I suggest Backing it up, because this won't affect the License(s) for the Games that were Activated on the User you've used Apollo Save Tool with - Tested/Working)

Cons
USB/Internet Connection are needed

Important:
Create a Backup of your own "xRegistry.sys" File via "/dev_hdd0/flash2/etc". Go into this Directory and Copy the File into a USB/FTP it onto your PC/Laptop before attempting to proceed with this Tutorial.

Note (for "xRegistry.sys" File that you've Backed Up):
Reason for doing this is, if something goes wrong, then you can Restore it back into the Directory I've wrote above. Restart Console afterwards and everything you had will go back to the way they were before doing the Tutorial.

What You Need
Internet Connection (for Downloading Games)
FAT32 Format USB/FTP (for Backing Up/Restoring "xRegistry.sys" File)
CFW Apps such as Apollo Save Tool (for Activating a User) & File Manager (Example: ManaGunz File Manager/MultiMAN for Transferring Files, if you don't have a USB) and PKGi (for Downloading/Installing .PKG Files)
WinRAR Program/Any Similar Program (for Extracting .RAR Files)

I wanted to Live Stream it, but decided to make a Video instead, because some parts kept getting cut off. Basically you're Downloading/Installing a Game via PKGi App without the need of having to Activate a PSN Account on the System or using reActPSN/PSN Patch to Activate the .RAP File(s). However, I can't confirm that this Method/Tutorial will work for everyone. This is another Alternative and can be put to great use, if you're Console Banned or don't have access to Sony's Servers.
