Set on Tenerife’s southwest coast in the Canary Islands, Playa de las Americas is a purpose-built resort that comes with great clubbing credentials. Playa de las Americas really goes to town on its beaches – there are 6 to choose from. And they all come with a great round-up of watersports, including jet-skiing and scuba diving. The main beach is sandy with calm, paddle-friendly waters and it has lots of cafés, restaurants and kiosks. Meanwhile, Playa de Guincho is a favourite with surfers and windsurfers.
