21/6/20 showcased a variety of passenger and freight trains.
Vlocities VL7, VL63 & VL23 were seen on trial as a 9 car unit, for initial testing on the Regional Rail Link between Wydnham Vale Sidings and the City. Vlocities at the time of filming, only run in 3 or 6 car configurations in revenue passenger service, in which is this is the first time, since the reshuffling of units from 2 to 3 car sets, we have seen 3 Vlocity units run in tandem.
The video showcases the consist at a variety of locations, during its 4 runs in the morning.
Thrown in the mix is two additional freight services captured throughout the day
7AM5 coming in from Adelaide, seen with new locomotives 9322, 9323 at the helm, only being delivered to PN this year. We see them, having spent just over a few weeks into service, having exclusively ran the Adelaide-Melbourne Intermodal service at this point in time, along with a few other new deliveries.
7SM2 also saw some extra loading, in the addition of two 81's riding 3rd and 4th engine, along with some mixed loading, coming in from Sydney.
