Mädchen in Uniform || FMV

So one thing I think no one really knows about me is that I actually really really like old movies and old hollywood. Two years ago I stumbled upon this german movie called Mädchen in Uniform (Girls in Uniform) and totally fell in love with it, as well as with both lead actresses Romy Schneider and Lilli Palmer. I started to follow some instagram fan pages about them and that finally leads us here :D I've done this music video edit as part of a fan art challenge of the account romy_and_lilli. If you're somehow interested please check her account out, she also posts some little fanarts and videos about them and uploads every now and then rare photos and magazine articles ^^ The movie itself takes place in Potsdam, Germany in 1910. Manuela, a young girl was brought to an all girls bording school, after she's lost her entire family. The school is characterized by severity and toughness, the only bright spot in the dark is the beautiful Elisabeth von Bernburg. It's a tragic love story based on the book written by Christa Winslow.
