Diddy, 55, was convicted in July of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. He was sentenced on October 3, with a $500,000 fine and five years of supervised release after his term. Time served since his September 2024 arrest will count toward his sentence.
Speculation about a potential pardon arose during Diddy’s trial and increased after Trump pardoned reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley earlier this year. Trump later commented in an interview that he “got along great” with Diddy but acknowledged tensions after Diddy criticized him during his presidency. Diddy’s attorney, Nicole Westmoreland, confirmed that discussions regarding a pardon had occurred between Diddy’s camp and the White House.
