Celebrations are being held with devotion and respect across the Kashmir Valley today on the occasion of Shab-e-Miraj. The biggest and main event is underway at Dargah Sharif Hazratbal, where a large number of devotees have started arriving since morning.
According to reports, Isha prayers will be offered at 10 pm tonight, after which gatherings of Durood and Azkar, Naat Khawani and Quran Khawani will be held till 2 am. Complete and effective arrangements have been made by the Waqf Administration and the District Administration on this occasion, especially special arrangements have been made for transport facilities.
Dargah Sharif Hazratbal has been beautifully decorated with carpet vendors and other decorative arrangements.
On the other hand, tomorrow, God willing, on Saturday, after the five daily prayers from Fajr prayer, the Ziyarat of the sacred hair, the hair of the Prophet ﷺ, will be organized, which will benefit the devotees. These spiritual events of the Night of Ascension are being celebrated with full enthusiasm.
