Killjoys | Johnny & Pawter | I Just Loved Her

Hi All,

I just checked in on my video to find it has 112 views! Which is so exciting for me. I'm pretty sure I have approximately 8 people in my life who are usually willing to view my creative activities.

This is my first ever edit. I made this after I watched all of Killjoys. I'm a bit of a Sci-Fi nerd and I really enjoyed this show. And maybe I'm old fashioned, but when I enjoy a show I like to immerse myself in it. I don't just move onto the next show and forget about it. I like to get on YouTube and FanFic sites and continue to have my heart broken by it.

When I finished season 5 of Killjoys (it took a while. I'm in Australia, even our paid TV is very behind for anything that isn't GOT.) I realised that Pawter was one of the stand out characters for me, and that it was one of the first shows I could remember that showed a main character recovering from a loved-one's death many seasons later. Pawter died at the end of season 2, but her death affected Johnny so profoundly that she was still a visceral presence 3 seasons later.

However, when I searched YouTube I could find very little that included her. I understand that Dutch is very personable and her relationship with D'avin, Johnny and Aneela is notable, but Pawter and Johnny were so real they made my heart sing and my soul ache (I cried... a LOT).

So I decided to make my own edit to fill the gap. I had never used any editing program before, so this was super complicated for me. It took me 2 weeks just to get the hang of Premiere Pro and another 2 weeks to finish the video, all while I should have been studying.

But I enjoyed the process so much, and I am really proud of the final result. So if you like it too, please like and comment.

If you would like to see more, I have some ideas. I want to make a video about Pawter's life without her death, one about women who are as passionate as she is and also one about Delle Seyeh because her character development is awesome!

But I don't want to invest that much of my life until I know I have people interested in watching, so please subscribe. Once I have 10 subscribers I will begin my next video.
