SITUATIONAL OVERVIEW:

The Vatican has approached NATO asking for JTFS by name.
Whispers spoken of the end of the world, and of holy wrath. The earth is sick, and must be healed. JTFS is the sword to cut into the evil and excise it before its corruption spreads further.

The smoke pouring out of what appears to be a massive fissure obscures the AO. Scarce reports from those who escaped before the quarantine was put into effect - Primarily an old orthodox priest serving the clergy in Northern Chernarus - Spoke of "The devil himself, bringing evil to Earth from the pool of the dead".

Mapping of the fissure indicates it is near or at the Pobeda Dam - An abandoned power generation facility, rendered inoperable by redirection of tributary rivers by the old Soviet empire.

The Chernarussian government has indicated to us that a task force sent in to investigate has gone MIA.

JTFS is to insert at a regional airport and nav through the countryside to the site of Pobeda Dam - And eliminate the source of whatever threat is present.

OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES:

OBJ-1: Navigate to Pobeda Dam successfully

OBJ-2: Eliminate the root of all evil

The AO itself is not able to be mapped at a distance, and leadership will need to develop their map of the region as they go.
