The Blue Lion Part 1 (AU/XOver) "Childhood"

Story line basics:
Kovu, Kiara, and Simba are not related. I'm pulling a lion king and throwing their lineage's out the window. Please don't ask about it, it doesn't have any affect on the story. Kiara is Mufasa's daughter, however, and that is important.

Kovu is a bold, curious young cub. Simba is much more cautious and thoughtful. Kiara is a little bit bratty and defiant, but she's very smart.
The story is pretty easy to follow from there. For anyone shocked by Mufasa's harsh punishment just know that Mufasa is kind of a jerk in this. He's never loved Kovu and was always searching for a way to rid himself of the cub. This is realistic of the Pride leader because only one male can be the heir, or Kiara's mate, and he prefers Simba. None of this is explained in the video, but I hope this smooths it out anyway.

At the end, Zira takes the lone cub in as her own once he enters the Outlands. This will be further explained in part 2 and is very important.

Essentially, this is a five-part series and my biggest endeavor yet. I'll be releasing new parts each Friday until part 5. At least, that's the plan. I may extend into more parts or reduce it instead. I have the whole story line written out, but inspiration usually catches me as I work ;D

As a side note, I'm sorry for the scaling/black box issue. Sony Vegas Pro hates me as much as I hate it. It insists on only showing those errors when it's rendering so I can never fix them all DX
