Hi, in this video, I'll try to repair a Seiko electronic watch. This is an intriguing watch. This has a conventional balance wheel but it is powered by a battery and driven without quartz.
This was developed by Daini Seikosha in Japan (also known as Kaimeido Seiko in Japan). This watch has a Seiko 0702A movement. Seiko developed some electronic movements and 0702A is a later model. So the architecture is sophisticated and it is easier to service than other old models. However, working on a different movement is always a challenge for hobbyists. I managed to make it run, but I broke it by amateur mistake eventually. I hope this video helps someone not to make the same mistake as I made.
