This webinar looks at the current museological approaches, with a particular focus on ethics and how they relate to the use of digital technologies in museums. It will start with an introduction to museums, explaining their role and aspirations in societies. Then it will continue with the presentation of the current issues in ethics that are relevant to digital applications. Finally, the audiences of museums will be discussed by presenting data collected through the ReInHerit research.
The Speaker: Polina Nikolaou is an experienced professional in developing and executing successful research projects in the cultural sector. With a rich background as a Research and Cultural Management Consultant, she has built a solid background in both heritage and academic sectors. Her diverse skill set encompasses Heritage Management, Ethics, Research, and Cultural Sustainability, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Concept Design, Proposal and Report Writing, as well as effective Communication and Dissemination strategies.
