2023/05/22 Budapest, sunset & thunderstorm

I recorded the video on the balcony in front of the Museum of Fine Arts.

00:00:00 First, I directed the camera towards the north, hoping for a spectacular sunset and possibly the decorative lighting of the Chain Bridge.
00:15:50 I redirected the camera towards the south because there were lightning strikes in that direction. The following list includes only those:
00:16:38 was the brightest one by far. Unfortunately, I had initially pointed the camera too far southeast while the storm was raging more towards the southwest, so unfortunately, very few lightning strikes are visible - and they are also heavily obscured. Realizing this, I quickly adjusted the camera to capture the south-southwest as well.
00:19:13 Another very impressive flash, although it was slightly smaller in magnitude than the one just under three minutes earlier - the storm was moving southward, so the lightning strikes became less visible.
00:20:41 A smaller flash, partially obscured by the clouds.
00:36:04 Lightning strike.
00:37:44 Lightning strike.
00:39:30 Lightning strike.
00:40:27 Lightning strike.
00:41:38 Lightning strike; unfortunately, not much is visible from this one either.
00:44:21 Lightning strike.

1, VLC does not support HDR videos, so the screenshots taken by it do not reproduce the original colors and especially not the dynamics of the original image.
2, and even if VLC did support HDR, as there is still no standard HDR image format compatible with the Web and especially with Flickr, it would not be possible to upload it as an HDR still image on Flickr.
