Crestele Dolomitilor - Catinaccio

RO: Masivul Catinaccio, situat in vestul Dolomitilor, si-a luat numele de la cuvantul ladin „ciadinac“ care desemneaza pietrisul grosier, de altfel specific in tot masivul.
In partea lui centrala, o imensa vale glaciara ce are originea in nodul orografic ce culmina cu varful Catinaccio d’Antermoia 3004 m alt, este calea de acces cea mai facila catre inima masivului. Cele doua grupuri de varfuri majore, Cima Catinaccio si Catinaccio d’Antermoia au costituit tinta turei noastre si subiectele peisajelor pe care ni le-am propus

EN: The Catinaccio Group, located in the western Dolomites, got its name from the Ladin word "ciadinac", which means coarse gravel, otherwise specific to the whole massif.
In its central part, a huge glacial valley originating in the orographic node culminating in the summit of Catinaccio d'Antermoia 3004 m high, is the easiest access to the heart of the massif. The two major groups of peaks, Cima Catinaccio and Catinaccio d'Antermoia were the target of our tour and the subjects of the landscapes we proposed to ourselves.
