Synopsis of Story📕:
So there I was, standing in my driveway at 7:43 AM on a Tuesday morning, wearing nothing but my bathrobe and those ridiculous fuzzy slippers my mom got me for Christmas three years ago—the ones with the googly eyes that I swore I'd never wear but, turns out, are actually pretty comfortable—when Karen, the HOA president and self-appointed guardian of suburban moral superiority, marched up to my property line like she was leading a one-woman invasion of Normandy.
"Logan," she said, and I swear to you, she pronounced my name like it physically hurt her mouth.
"Logan, we need to talk about your doorbell."
