Relationship between the cranial cervical orientation and the center of force occlusion . The objective of this study was to access the clinical observation that have been observed over the years that suggest that changes can occur to the dental occlusion following an upper cervical adjustment. The study measured posture changes before and after correction as well as bite scan analysis (called a teksacn, basically how the teeth lines up when we bite). And they found that the bite scan analysis changed after the upper cervical correction as well as overall body posture. So this study suggest that there is a link between the upper neck and the jaw and how the alignment of the cranial cervical junction affects occlusion.
