DECENT LEADERS! Railfanning around Cedarbrae, ON (DEC 17, 2025)

On December 17, 2025, I drove over to the CN Bala Subdivision for all the afternoon action that was gonna happen plus a couple of good leaders to shoot. I started off the day with CN Q102 which had CN 3386 + a K5LA horn. This is probably the first time I’ve heard a K5LA horn on CN. Then I drove up to Cedarbrae for Q106 who had an old dash 9 leader. Then I went north to Pefferlaw for VIA 1 & A450 who were an hour apart from each other. In the video when VIA 1 went by, you can see the CN workers working on the new Cedarbrae siding that is supposed to replace zephyr. Then the northbound trio I got was around Cedarbrae. M303 had 5 engines on it including a 9WL and Q105 had a nice clean SD75IACC leader. I was joined by ‪@TheCNCPKCRailfan‬.
