A highlight of the 1999 Holland Festival: Steve Gray's arrangement of music by Brian Eno, performed by the Metropole Orkest and conducted by Dick Bakker. Two pieces feature spoken word performances by Brian Eno, one using text that also appeared in Eno's light installation at the Festival.
Source: FM Radio broadcast, as part of the Supplement radio programs, hence a little radio interference in places.
Two performances were planned, but one was cancelled because of a strike.

Revenue from ads accompanying this video goes to the following companies who own this performance of the track "Triennale": APRA_CS, STIM CS, KODA_CS, BUMA CS, TONO_CS, SACEM, TEOSTO_CS, PRS CS & SABAM_CS. The University does not receive a centime.
Note on recording: By this stage in bootleg sharing, the CD-R was in vogue as the main delivery format. The concert duration/CD space meant that recordings could include either all the audience applause after each piece, or Brian Eno's introduction, but not both. The recording that found its way to the University's archives is the version with the introduction.
Researchers understand that a recording of this concert was considered for an official release, but sadly this never came to pass; instead, the concert has been swapped and widely available on SoundCloud/Mixcloud for years. A single track, "Saint Tom", was included on a promotional CD titled "Live On Stage - Netherlands Metropole Orchestra" in 2001.
This recording does not appear to be commercially available. Will rapidly comply with any takedown request.
