And i was thinking about not going to get it...
The Sharp is too noisy, might be a tuner issue. As for the Magnavox: For some stupid reason, the sharpness was turned up all the way, making the picture look too grainy. It concerned me til i entered the menu.
The brightness was set high and the contrast was maxed out. It seems to be a high hour set. I plan on taking the tube out of the one that crapped out and putting it into this one.
Speaking of the one that crapped out, i also plan on upgrading the awful speakers. The speakers i'm putting in there are out of a newer Philips Magnavox. Same ohm and wattage rating.
The picture tube in the other one is a A68AGN33X and the worn out one in this set is a A68AGN32X. They are size and pinout compatible.
