I recently learned a new nugget about the biblical Christmas story that blew my mind and shows so clearly that nothing God does is by chance. I pray it encourages those tired and weary in the wait - God has not forgotten you. Waiting isn't punishment, and God's answers may look different than we imagined but they are so much bigger than us. He is writing your story, and it is good.
