Porsche 917K | Keeping History Alive

Active Matter is our YouTube series profiling the cars housed at Revs Institute and the people who keep them alive in the world! This in-depth series will give viewers unprecedented access to the behind-the-scenes work at our museum, workshop, and library. With 120 historically significant vehicles to keep in working order, we want to share how our diverse team draws on many different disciplines to preserve the automobile and automotive culture for future generations.

“Just by looking into the cockpit of the car, you start to imagine and feel what these drivers had to go through,” explains Patrick Long alluding to the patina and battle scars of our 917K at Luft 10.
