Wars of Scottish Independence - Part 3

Hello! :D

Moving on to the 13th Century, and in the often turbulent history of political relations between England and Scotland, perhaps the most notable episode of these many disagreements outside the Jacobite Rebellion are the Wars of Scottish Independence, a near century long sporadic conflict that was caused by various Scottish lords and wily English kings wishing to exploit succession crises and power vacuums.

In Part 3, after a brief interruption of hostilities, a further succession crisis in the wake of King Robert's death in 1329 rapidly saw a resumption of the Scottish War of Independence, with various vying powers moving to try and take the Scottish throne for themselves, as instigated by King Edward III of England, though due to a pre-existing alliance with the French, what initially started as a border war in the far north of Britain would soon set the continent ablaze in wider confrontation, with the road to war lined with betrayal, destruction and death.

Also, I'm currently experimenting with a new form of vocal presentation following feedback from the comments section. Please let me know if the new style of presentation is better than before. :)
