Quick-Sew Series #1: Scrappy Potholder (Total Beginner Project + Detailed Instructions)

Hello there!

In this video, I share my version of a scrappy potholder with you. This is a rather long video for a "quick-sew" project. I try to make this sew-along as beginner-friendly as possible, so I include a lot of explanation! I hope it's not too annoying for those of you who are more experienced. This project was inspired by sewing tutorials by Erica Arndt and Minki Kim. I did not ask for their permission to film this sew-along because I feel like this potholder has enough of "me" in it, with bits and pieces of inspirations from their videos. 2 1/4" x (perimeter of potholder + 10") binding or bias binding

5) 75/11 quilting needle
6) 90/14 quilting needle OR microtex needle to attach binding

11) stiletto (recommended but optional)
12) hump jumper (recommended but optional)
13) sewing clips
14) walking foot (recommended but optional)
