The CPA Exam is evolving, but some of the updates can work in your favor. In 2024, the CPA Evolution will introduce new exam sections and new topics. Here are some of the major changes you can expect with CPA Evolution. The new CPA Exam will consist of three core sections (AUD, FAR and REG) and three new discipline sections (BAR, ISC and TCP). The new format will replace Microsoft Excel with SpreadJS. The new exam will no longer include essays or written communication. The BEC section of the current CPA Exam will disappear under the CPA Evolution, but BEC content will be distributed throughout four of the six exam sections.
