This journey through Morocco’s breathtaking landscapes took us past the Atlas Mountains, desert villages, and stunning canyons — all the way to the magical sand dunes of Merzouga.

Before the trip, I was nervous — people warned me it gets freezing cold at night in the Sahara, and as someone who really feels the cold, I was worried about staying overnight in a tent. I honestly didn’t know what I was getting myself into.

But in the end, it turned out to be one of the most incredible experiences of my life — the kind of memory I’ll one day tell my grandchildren. From the Moroccan "Grand Canyon" scenery, the flawless golden sands of the Sahara lit by pink sunrise and sunset reflections, to the warm-hearted guides and fellow travelers we met along the way... it was pure magic.
