Truthfully, Defeating Champion Diantha With An Underleveled Torchic was no simple matter! Unlike my prior Pokémon battles against AI Turo in Pokémon Violet and Champion Leon in Pokémon Shield, this endeavor was planned & analyzed well in advance.
This presentation is above all else, a proof of concept. A good deal of RNG was required to pull this off, and this footage is the most refined of my attempts. This was accomplished on Citra Emulator, hence the enhanced HD visuals. I always knew that Pokémon Y’s final battle possessed astonishing notoriety, but to win with a Torchic? A Blaziken would’ve sufficed, but where’s the challenge in that?
