In mid-July, 2024, I waded a river in Central Ohio with an ultralight rod. I was trying to catch as many species as I could, but also wanted to explore a specific spot (located on Google Maps) that I thought would hold smallmouth bass. I ended up catching 8 species total! I caught smallmouth, largemouth, and rock bass. I also caught a creek chub. I caught bluegill, green sunfish, "green gill" hybrids, and a pumpkinseed.
