This is a review of the GLENLIVET 12 YO Single Malt Scotch whisky from Speyside.
The distillery is near Ballindalloch in Moray, Scotland, that produces single malt Scotch whisky. It is the oldest legal distillery in the Highlands of Scotland. It was founded in 1824 and has operated almost continuously since.
Its billed as smooth, fruity, complex, sophisticated, entertaining. I had a few glasses on an recent Alaskan Cruise and liked it so I bought a bottle duty free on my return to Australia.

Tasting Notes:
COLOUR: Bright, vibrant gold
FLAVOUR: Delicately balanced with strong pineapple notes
FINISH: Long, creamy, smooth
NOSE: Fruity, summery
PALATE: Well-balanced and fruity, with strong pineapple notes
