Initially went to Portsmouth to fish Eastney pier and too much weed so Andy and I moved to Selsey near the Lifeboat station planning to catch black Bream from the beach.
Fished the tide up for four hours and back down for two. Some weed and strong West South West wind blowing with bright sunshine.
The water was very clear and Andy started catching Bream immediately and I eventually found the fish at distance.
Baits used were strips of squid and frozen Lugworm on simple two hook scratching rigs.
Got soundly beaten by Andy again.
