This is a review of the Christopher Ward C70 Chronometer Limited Edition. This is a watch that is designed in England but made in Switzerland. It is a really cool looking watch that has retro look to it. It's commemorating the first win of World Championship Grand Prix by a British person in Britain (Stirling Moss in his Vanwall VW4 at Aintree) in 1957. There were only 1957 pieces made. This watch has sapphire crystal and ETA 251.233 COSC movement. That number 20 signifies the number of the winning car.
For the things that I don't like: I wish it has automatic movement as the quatrz movement used is not smooth like in my Seiko Sportura. The paint on the bezel is starting to come off a little from the wear but it also makes it look more classic which is nice. I also think that the crown is pretty hard to unscrew being so slick, I wish it was easier to work with.
Conclusion: I really love it for the way it looks with that British green color playing with white, yellow and even red on the second's hand. This is a very enjoyable watch and a nice conversation starter and the build quality is top notch.
