Sept. 7, 2022 – A human smuggler led DPS Troopers on a high speed vehicle pursuit in Willacy County. During the pursuit, the driver lost control and rolled their vehicle. A dozen illegal immigrants were discovered inside and referred to USBP. The driver was charged with human smuggling.
