17. Mechanical vibrations, part 1: free undamped motion (Notes on Diffy Qs, 2.4)

An undergraduate course on differential equations aimed at engineers and other STEM fields.

In this lecture, we look at a few applications of second order ODE, in particular the mass spring setup, the RLC circuit, and the linearized pendulum equation. We then analyze the free undamped motion.
